Penn Central C630 6326

A westbound TrucTrain approaches Adam Tower, which governed the Pennsylvania Railroad Fort Wayne Division junction with the GR&I on the east side of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The end of this crew's run is drawing near, as the receiving yard at the ex-PRR Piqua Yard in Fort Wayne proper is a mere 1.5 miles west. Once there, they will uncouple the power and take it to the roundhouse at the Winter Street shops a mile or so further west. Adam Tower was closed by Penn Central in the mid seventies and burned to the ground shortly thereafter, the victim of an arsonist's glee.
