PRR Class F40 470250 is one beast of a flat car, and whatever Allis-Chalmers has loaded on here appears worthy of the muscle. It is also the only car of its class. We wonder how many other PRR freight car classes have but one unit. The photographer and location are unknown, but by the looks of the stencil on the side it is sometime after October, 1954.
