West Junction Yard

A westbound freight train with a short but interesting consist pulls out of the old West Junction Yard, just east of Wyoming Avenue. The Wyoming Avenue bridge is directly behinds us, and just beyond that is the PM mainline and their mighty truss bridge over the NYC mainline. This is now the location of CP-LOU, which connects the Conrail Michigan Line with the CSXT Detroit Subdivision. Detroiters will recognize the skyline in the distance as one similar to the skyline that we see while driving down Michigan Avenue. The Michigan Line parallels Michigan Avenue from Dearborn to Ypsilanti.
