ELDW is making a very rare daytime appearance on the Michigan Line in February 1994. He has just passed Honnigers Feed Mill eastbound and will be at the Dexter Detector in just a of couple minutes. We are standing along Dexter-Chelsea Road, looking northwest. Your webmaster heard him at Jackson while railfanning NS at Milan. I vectored him to this location, and caught him with no time at all to spare. A mere five seconds late and I'd have missed this shot. It is hard to believe that all of those SD50s are being retired.
