Deshler is a great, safe place to watch trains. The north end of the Toledo Subdivision, long underused, now sees a respectable amount of traffic to relieve pressure on the CSX Columbus Subdivision. Pack yourself a lunch, take a good book, and hang out at the picnic table that is under the shade tree at the SW quadrant of the diamond. We have whiled away many an afternoon so doing, watching trains go by and watching clouds go by...
