The Found Penn Central, Erie Lackawanna, and Pennsylvania Railroad Photographs
of Mr. Steve Baldwin

Steve Baldwin of Yonkers recently saved several hundred monochrome railroad photographic prints from being tossed in the dumpster by the superintendent of an apartment building that was occupied by a railfan who had taken ill and been sent to a hospice.

About half of these prints, taken in the 1950's and 60's in the New York City area, were taken by unknown photographers. It is with great pleasure and humility that we share them with you here.

Back in the 1970's, Steve himself recorded color slides of railroad action on Penn Central, Conrail, and Erie-Lackawanna lines. These color images are included in this collection.
