Old Ann Arbor

Here we see her parents standing side by side in what could possibly be the Old West Side of Ann Arbor, up the hill west of downtown. The telegraph pole indicates that electricity is in the neighborhood, so perhaps this is a new subdivision in Ann Arbor somewhere. I cannot help but notice that while her parents are standing close next to each other and the backs of their hands are very nearly touching, they are not holding hands.
